How It Works
Setup takes under 5 minutes. porchID handles everything else.
Mount porchID at your delivery zone. Power it via the included cable or optional solar battery pack.
Scan the QR code in the app to pair your device and set your delivery zone in seconds.
Carriers scan the NFC tag on delivery. porchID captures the photo, logs the timestamp, and sends you an alert.

By using porchID hardware, software, or services ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
porchID is for lawful personal property monitoring only. You may not use it to monitor public spaces, record individuals without consent where prohibited by law, or violate any applicable privacy regulations.
Your porchID device automatically sends periodic health data ("telemetry") to our servers to maintain service quality and enable remote diagnostics. This includes:
Telemetry is transmitted every 5 minutes over encrypted HTTPS. It is linked to your device ID only — not your name, address, or personal identity. We retain telemetry data for up to 30 days. You may opt out of telemetry in the app settings, which may limit our ability to diagnose issues remotely.
We do not sell, share, or use telemetry data for advertising purposes.
Delivery photos and event logs are stored securely and are accessible only to you. We do not access your photos unless you explicitly share them with our support team. Photos are retained for 90 days by default and can be deleted at any time from the app.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." PORCHID IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSED DELIVERIES, THEFT EVENTS, OR HARDWARE FAILURE. WE ARE A VERIFICATION LAYER, NOT A SECURITY GUARANTEE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PORCHID'S TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE DEVICE IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
